Protection of Personal Information
Any personal information or data (e.g. such as your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, or any other data that can be used to identify you), processed and/or captured is subject to the Municipality’s POPIA Policies, which is governed by the Protection of Personal Information Act (Act 04 of 2013). Specifically, any personal information collected and processed is explicitly for the lawful purpose of complying with the Municipal Property Rates Act (Act 06 of 2004, as ammended), and the production and maintenance of the Municipality’s Valuation Rolls. Use of this site indicates your consent to the storage and processing of your personal information in this regard.
Information contained in the site
The information contained in this site is for the purpose of inspecting the Valuation Roll in accord with the Municipal Property Rates Act (Act 06 of 2004, as ammended). The information is provided by the Municipality and the appointed Municipal Valuers, who are responsible for publishing the applicable Valuation Roll. This information is also provided for you as the user to inspect the aforementioned valuation roll, as well as lodge objections to the roll in accord with the provisions set forth in Section 50 of the Municipal Property Rates Act.
